About Us

Youth Bible Study: On Wednesday's, we meet at 6:30 PM and provide students with a quick snack and fellowship time with games and activities. We are currently studying Grounded by Clayton & Sharie King.

Sunday School: Every Sunday before the 11 AM service our youth group meets at 9:45 AM in the youth department located below the children's department. Students are led in a structured teaching time where they learn about God's Word and are challenged by its truth.

Our Mission: The purpose of Childrey Baptist Church is to make disciples by reaching the lost and maturing the saved into serving the Kingdom by sending workers into the world.

Our Student Ministry exists to provide a loving and Christ-honoring environment for students to encounter Jesus and grow in their Christian faith in both knowledge and practice. The student ministry exists as an “arm” of Childrey Baptist Church, not a separate entity. Therefore, we seek to provide events and programs that further the mission of our church, and ultimately, our King. We strive to support and serve students & their families in our church body through personal discipleship opportunities, weekly discipleship programs, and monthly special events. We hope to provide a united community of fellowship among our adult volunteers and students. We seek to teach the Word of God to students, encourage them to “own” their faith & grow in spiritual disciplines, and equip them for the work of ministry in the local church. We also hope to help students realize their current potential for serving God, the church body, and the community. It is our firm belief that parents have an important role in the discipleship of their children and we exist as a resource to parents as they disciple them.
